Takashi Murakami Designs Skateboard Decks For Supreme

World-renowned Japanese artist, Takashi Murakami, was born in Tokyo in 1962.
By proposing the concept of “Superflat”,he interprets modern Japanese Culture in a state where the line between high and low culture has been melted. As an artist, Murakami questions the relationship between East and West, past and present, fine art, pop culture and mass media.
Supreme will release a series of limited edition skateboard decks designed by artists Takashi Murakami and Mr. The series will consist of three decks designed by each artist.
They will be available exclusively though the six Supreme stores (New York, Los Angeles and four locations throughout Japan).
